Charles A. Zapf, MD

I am a board certified psychiatrist and have worked with children and adults for over 20 years. My training in internal medicine, psychiatry, and child psychiatry was at Emory University, where I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry. I have used my extensive education along with a wide range of clinical experience as the foundation for my practice. Within a sensitive environment, I believe a collaborative exploration can occur. Those who are willing to pursue their own mental health have the chance to understand themselves better and reduce insecurities and suffering. Dealing directly with questions, issues, and concerns is more empowering than trying to hide, deny, or minimize them. Ultimately I want to help a person develop the capacity to put their talents to work in a productive way and be able to enjoy their personal relationships.
